One of the most evocative and addictive sporting events in the world! The 24 Hour Le Mans festival of

endurance racing is like no other and eagerly awaited by the many thousands of British fans who return

year after year to La Sarthe for the annual privilege of being part of this unique occasion.

 

It is not only a race for the die-hard motorsport fan but as much for the casual fan out to enjoy a hugely

entertaining weekend. And the support for Le Mans is immense! Whether you are part of the hugely

impressive convoy of colourful British cars that weave their way down to Le Mans every year, or prefer

to arrive by rail or air, there is something in Le Mans

for everyone.

For teams and drivers the Le Mans 24 hours is an incredible

journey and the ultimate test of skill and endurance on Le

Man's 8 mile La Sarthe circuit. It’s particularly eerie at night,

as the trees fly by and just the tail lights of the car in front

and the two chicanes to keep the driver on the ball.

Weaving through public roads and countryside at

200mph when eventually as the end of the lap

approaches you can see the funfair, the grandstands

and the lights of the pit building and you cross the

line to do it again – over 300 times during the

24 hours.
